Behind the Song
God of A-R-E was birthed out of a season of reflection, conversation, and identity work.
For my birthday, I hosted a series of identity sessions—intentional gatherings created to help women pause, reflect, and reconnect with who they are beneath titles, roles, and expectations. During those conversations, one phrase kept returning to me again and again: "God of A-R-E"
The phrase comes from 2 Corinthians 5:17 that says we ARE become—NOT that we WILL become someday, but that it’s already done. That shifted something for me.
Identity isn’t something we earn, arrive at, or wait for. Everything God placed inside of us—purpose, calling, identity—was already there before we were ever a thought in our mother’s womb.
Nothing is missing. Nothing is delayed. Nothing needs permission to arrive. You're not random.
What began as reflection turned into writing. And what started as writing became a song.
The Song: God of A-R-E
God of A-R-E is an invitation to remember who you already are. It’s not about striving.
It’s not about becoming “enough.” It’s about alignment—returning to truth, identity, and clarity.
The song is meant to sit with you. To meet you where you are. To remind you that you are not late, lacking, or behind.
